Our Preschool Program, in collaboration with Rainbow Child Development Center, is dedicated to fostering independence and curiosity in children aged 2 to 3 years old. This program is designed to guide preschoolers through key developmental milestones in a nurturing environment. With a focus on social, emotional, and cognitive growth, we aim to prepare children for the next steps in their educational journey. Our curriculum combines structured learning with creative play, ensuring a balanced approach to early education, with meals provided to support their well-being throughout the day.

How do The Learning Labs support 2 to 3 year-old children in their development?

• Social Development Our daily free play sessions encourage children to interact socially, enhancing their oral communication skills. The dramatic play area allows them to engage their imaginations while learning responsibility and independence through activities like choosing and maintaining play centers.
• Emotional Development Through a balance of fiction and nonfiction readings, we help preschoolers distinguish between reality and fantasy, supporting their emotional understanding and cognitive development.
• Movement (Gross Motor) We offer diverse dance styles and outdoor activities to support gross motor development. Daily routines include structured playtime, ensuring that children have the opportunity to develop physical skills through play equipment and sports.
• Cognitive Development With the Abeka curriculum, we introduce preschoolers to Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Math. Our program is designed to work in collaboration with parents, helping to shape children into lifelong learners and responsible members of society.
• Language Development Through storytelling and show-and-tell, children expand their vocabulary and articulation. We encourage them to use words for communication and conflict resolution, fostering a healthy, verbal approach to problem-solving.
• Hand and Finger Skills (Fine Motor) Art activities play a crucial role in developing fine motor skills. Children learn to use scissors, trace, and write their names, setting the foundation for future academic success.
